The veranda is now under construction and is well underway. Construction began on the three phase, $70,000 project in mid October and the first phase is almost complete. The first phase includes total destruction and rebuilding of the veranda; second phase includes fixing the walkway and stone pillars located on Pugh Street; third phase involves the refurbishing of the stone wall on Pugh Street and the stone wall on Highland Avenue. The first phase of the project should be completed in the next couples weeks depending on weather.
