NewsPutting Yourself in the Other Guy’s Shoes Thanks to Steve Jordan ’57 for participating in our alumni Q&A. Why did I join SAE over other fraternities? My brother was an active brother when I got to PSU, so I had visited the house several times while in high school. But I rushed several other fraternities nevertheless. Liked the brothers, the house and the other rushees better, so it was an easy choice and one I’ve never regretted. That total made all 46 hours worth it to SAE’s five dancers Mitch Settino, Jim Grech, Vin Lizza, Matt Bright, and Mike Pierce. “There are a lot of ups and downs,” admitted Jim Grech (senior). “But it’s been easy to stay happy the whole time.” “It’s funny when we start to get a little goofy,” added Mitch Settino (senior). “Our delirious conversations are hilarious.” Despite the mental and physical challenges, Mitch, Jim, Vin, Matt, and Mike pushed through to help THON 2013 reach its highest total yet. | The Making of a Man We asked several alumni to explain how SAE helped make them into the man they are today.
